I’m an Azure integration & AI consultant with 20+ years in software. I connect enterprise systems on Azure and bring AI into existing .NET applications — most recently as Azure Integration Engineer at Ciklum, and previously as Enterprise Architect on the ŠKODA / VW connected car platform. Away from the keyboard, I’m a father of two and a certified chess coach.

20+ Years in Software

I started programming as a kid on an 8-bit Didaktik M, teaching myself assembly from a manual — and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Professionally, the arc looks like this:

  • Founded and ran a web agency for over five years — web development, e-commerce, and everything it takes to keep client systems running.
  • Enterprise .NET engineering — performance optimization of checkout and payment systems, complex reporting pipelines, caching strategies for high-traffic retail platforms.
  • Enterprise Architect for ŠKODA / VW Group — designed connected car platform architecture as part of ŠKODA’s technical cluster: technical, risk, and impact analysis at automotive-enterprise scale.
  • Azure integration & AI today — designing system-to-system integrations on Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, APIs, messaging) and shipping AI features that run in production.

The common thread: taking systems that don’t work together — or don’t work well — and making them reliable, connected, and fast.

What I’m Focused On Now

  • Azure integration engineering at Ciklum — cloud integration architecture across a complex enterprise ecosystem.
  • RosterIQ — my own AI-powered shift scheduling product, built on Azure OpenAI and in production since April 2025.
  • Master’s degree in Process Management at VŠEM — because good architecture decisions are business decisions too.

Away From the Keyboard

I’m a father of two, so my free time is… let’s say optimized. I’m a certified chess coach for children and a former chess club chairman — I still play daily. When I’m not coding or studying, I’m reading sci-fi (Asimov shaped my imagination more than any framework ever did) or spending time with family.
